Bio

Board-certified in neurosurgery in 2000 following graduation from National Gyeongsang Medical School in 1992. Appointed as Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Hallym University College of Medicine and served as an Exchange Professor at the University of Miami. Held prominent leadership positions including 5th President of the Society of Korean Endoscopic Spine Surgery, Executive Director of KOMISS, and Founder/President of both CASMISS and ISECSS. Recognized with best paper awards at WCMISST and PASMISS in 2017. Documented history of over 270 overseas invited lectures, over 250 overseas spine operations, education of more than 1,200 spine fellowship surgeons, and authorship of multiple textbook chapters and peer-reviewed articles on endoscopic spine decompression and fusion.
